Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a competition and a cast-iron (hardstyle) kettlebell?

The simple rule: kettlebell sport → competition kettlebell; hardstyle and CrossFit → cast-iron kettlebell. Competition kettlebells are steel and keep the same size at every weight, so the rack position, movement path and grip stay repeatable — which matters for economy of movement over long sets. Cast-iron kettlebells change size with weight and are popular in hardstyle, CrossFit and general strength & conditioning.

What kettlebell weight should I start with?

For beginners we suggest roughly 12–16 kg for men and 4–12 kg for women — a weight that lets you learn technique instead of fighting to survive from the first session. If you are strength-trained but new to kettlebells, around 20–24 kg (men) or 12–16 kg (women) is a common choice. The final pick depends on your goal, experience and whether you train recreationally, for strength or for kettlebell sport.

Is 32 kg a good first kettlebell?

No — 32 kg is too heavy as a first kettlebell in almost every case. Even if you are strong, kettlebell training is about technique, control, movement path, grip and breathing, not just lifting a load. If you want one bell with a wide progression range, an adjustable 12–32 kg competition kettlebell is a smart option.

Should I buy one kettlebell or a pair?

Beginners usually need just one — it is the best way to learn technique, control and the basic movements. A pair is mainly for intermediate and advanced lifters who already know how to work with the bells and want double kettlebell training (double clean, double jerk, double long cycle).

Are competition kettlebells colour-coded?

Yes. Incore Sports competition kettlebells follow the international competition colour standard, e.g. 8 kg pink, 12 kg blue, 16 kg yellow, 20 kg purple, 24 kg green, 28 kg orange, 32 kg red. Cast-iron kettlebells carry a colour-coded stripe on the handle for quick weight identification.

What weight should I choose for a macebell or clubbell?

Weight feels different here because the centre of mass is far from your hands — even a light tool can be demanding. For a macebell we suggest about 4–6 kg (men) and 3–4 kg (women); for a clubbell about 4–6 kg (men) and 2–4 kg (women). Start lighter and prioritise technique: the macebell has the longest lever and is the most technically demanding, the clubbell sits between a kettlebell and a macebell.

What material are Incore Sports kettlebells made of?

Competition kettlebells are single-cast, hollow, no welding and no filling, with a polished 33 mm handle whose widened end reduces forearm pressure — steel, except the lightest 4 and 6 kg which are aluminium to keep the size uniform. Hardstyle kettlebells are cast iron with a 33 mm handle (40 mm at 28 kg, 38 mm at 32 kg), powder-coated black with a colour stripe.

Are Incore Sports kettlebells suitable for competition?

Yes. Both competition and cast-iron kettlebells are professional gear meeting world training and competition standards. Incore Sports equipment has been used at kettlebell World Championships and at the Polish Championships in 2023–2025, and by top international athletes.

What is a macebell used for?

A steel mace concentrates weight at one end of a long handle, so it trains rotational strength, a strong core, shoulder stability, mobility, body control and grip — useful in combat sports and functional training. It is more technically demanding than a kettlebell, so start light.

What is a clubbell used for?

Steel clubbells develop rotational strength, shoulders, core, mobility, coordination, movement control and grip through swinging and circular movements. The centre of mass sits closer to the hands than on a macebell, making it a middle ground between a kettlebell and a mace.

Do the products have a warranty?

Yes. Incore Sports products come with a 2-year warranty, covering kettlebells, macebells, clubbells and accessories.

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to Poland, EU countries, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway and Switzerland. Incore Sports products have already reached more than 40 countries. Shipping to North and South America is in preparation and not yet available.

How do I care for my kettlebell, macebell or clubbell?

Store the gear in a dry place, avoid prolonged contact with moisture and do not leave it outdoors, or it may start to rust over time. You can lightly sand the handle with fine sandpaper to improve chalk grip. Paint may chip with heavy use — that is normal and does not affect function.

When was Incore Sports founded?

Incore Sports was founded in Poland in 2023. It started because there were no good competition kettlebells for serious kettlebell sport, then grew into macebells, clubbells, belts, wristbands and accessories — with magnetic add-on weights and apparel planned next.
